Dear Rob,
Yesterday my 13 year old daughter was taking Draken for a walk at the school
which is across the street from us. Although school is closed there was a lot
of activity over there.
She said there were a couple of fire trucks doing some type of training. I'm
happy to report that Draken pretty much ignored them.
My daughter’s social studies teacher was at the school and came and talked
to her and Draken sniffed his hand and everything was cool. The janitor at the
school also came out to talk to her about her dog and never got closer than 6
feet to her. She said that Draken placed himself in front of her, between her
and the janitor. Even though this man was not a threat, he wasn't taking any
chances. The guy even told her she had a very protective dog. Seems he owns a
couple of German Shepherds and was impressed by Draken.
The training Draken received makes him a pleasure to walk. He walks with confidence
and I feel very comfortable when my daughters walk with him anywhere. It seems everyday
I read where another innocent child is abducted from their homes. After my daughter told
me about Draken's demonstration yesterday, I do not pity the person who tries this at my
house. But at the same time when we have friends over, he just tries to see how many
kisses he can give them.
I look forward to seeing you again and hope Brenna continues to excel in her training.
Thanks,
P. Weist, New Jersey
